Well I DID write a journal entry before but something happened so I guess devi didn't upload it right? Glitch? Whatever.
Some of you noticed I put the sketches up ^^
Just something to get back into the spirit of drawing. I completed the rough outlines of my next nuzlocke page! I'll locate my pens (where did my family put them?!?!) and the next page should be up very soon! Then I'll move back to college. And once I move in, another page coming up!
How was my trip to Japan?
FREAKIN. EPIC.
I was stationed in the southern island of Kyushu. And Kyushu was the inspiration behind Hoenn so in a way, I was on a pokemon adventure of my own.
Weather wise, I think Hoenn nailed Kyushu's patterns. It was either pouring waterfalls of rain on top of me or it was super hot & humid. Very tropical feeling. Lots of tall trees, little islands, beautiful ocean views, all that awesome stuff. I did experience a typhoon (which is actually close to Kyogre awakening xD). Luckily, the Japanese make strong umbrellas.
I was mostly in Fukuoka which is an AMAZING city I have come to love. Cool stuff to do, love the shopping, beaches are perfect to have fun or relax at, people are very nice, I could go on. However I did get two temporary transfers to Tokyo (1 week) and Kagoshima (3 days). Tokyo was a blast to explore and so much to do! Kagoshima is cool too though the volcano nearby coughed up ash which turns out, I have an allergic reaction too. Oh and the fact that the volcano had a 90% chance of exploding so I had to evacuate the area.
And any of you wondering, yes I did visit the Pokémon Center. Actually, I visited three. All of my locations had them! So I did some of my shopping there. There's a ton of items you can get in Japan that you can't get anywhere else; even internet makes it crazy expensive. How does a mega shiny rayquaza doll sound? Or a Pikachu wearing a yukata? Heck, look at my profile pic on my devi page. At the time I wrote this post, I took a picture in Fukuoka Tower with my sailor Pikachu! After that pic, a snack with eevee shaped cookies. ^^
I think travelling was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I really hope to do it again someday! Heck, I want to go back to Japan to experience even more!
Any questions about Japan, just ask! I'm happy to answer questions!

Where in the World Is Sky?
It's been a long time. Way too long, I know. A couple months ago I posted some sketches and made a status that said I was working hard trying to return to my nuzlocke. So what happened? Well, a lot. It's one of those times in life where everything seems to be in order and you're ready to conquer the world, then it all comes crashing down at once. A lot of personal stuff along with the tablet having some issues. It can't be fixed and while I'm saving for a new one, it may take a long time. Joys of adulthood, all that jazz. There have been times I get frustrated and I am tempted to end the nuzlocke comic SORA altogether. Pull a "land-walker": write the rest of the plot with sketches (on that note, I will always love his nuzlocke comics) Give us all some sort of closure rather than leaving things open ended. And then there's that stubborn part of me who wants to see the dang thing finished, however long it would take. I'm not sure what 2023 holds for any part of my life
Where Did She Go?
It's been a long time. Far too long, really. There have been a couple sweet people who have messaged me over many months, asking if I was ok and where I've been. First, thank you. I missed you too. 2020 was intense. In summary... - Covid19 swept through the planet which also caused * My job to go into insanity mode * Health problems for my family * And all the other stuff you know Covid brings - I hurt my hand - My tablet broke - My laptop broke - An old friend passed away With disasters occurring one after another, my mental state started to decline. My creative spark was gone. I couldn't draw, write or do anything. I spent a good chunk of 2020 in a gray void, paralyzed by anxiety. I can't say I'm completely better now. Still panicking, still going through the rollercoaster that is life. There's a buddy of mine who encouraged me to write fanfiction for practice and we share chapters with each other. And I've doodled here n' there. I don't feel quite

First update of 2020! Sora 14-11 is online!
Usually I take a journal post to review the year and reflect on my life. Let's keep that tradition going, eh? So what did 2019 bring for Sky this year?
For awhile, I was working two jobs to keep up bills. And yeah, it was intense. Thankfully one job got me promoted and I was able to go back to working a single job full time. I could've worked a part-time gig. However, I learned something important this year.

Been awhile since the last journal post. I'm not dead (probably)! It's been chaotic. Working overtime for weeks, holiday chaos and yes, Pokemon Shield.
Don't care what anyone says about Sword/Shield cause I LOVE the games! Played through story 2 times (one was a nuzlocke), completed the pokedex and now I'm shiny hunting while participating in raids.
Hopefully I can get one more SORA before the end of the year, maybe some artwork too at
